In 1863, the Hönigsberg brothers began manufacturing elaborate shirts by hand. With their expertise and attention to detail, demand for their shirts quickly increased. In 1886, they opened their first industrial manufacturing facility in Vienna near Schönbrunn Palace. The view of the palace and its Gloriette inspired the brothers to give their company the brand name Gloriette. A few decades later, the company was taken over by the Ganahl family, who moved Gloriette to a new location and expanded the business. For over 125 years, the label has been creating unique shirts and perfecting their manufacturing.
