MAX MARA THE CUBE

Max Mara The Cube has been around since 2008 and is an independent concept of outerwear and accessories. Thanks to its innovative design, parts of the collection were included in the collections of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and the FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York, where they were exhibited as a "cult object" as part of the "Fashion and Technology" exhibition.

Max Mara stands for camel hair. Some of her legendary coats are made of pure camel hair. In an upcycling process, the Cameluxe fabric, a superfine filling for a new generation of Max Mara The Cube, is made from the fabric left over from the production of the coats. The sophisticated styles in The Cube collection from Max Mara include elegant coats, reversible jackets, transitional jackets, bomber jackets and trench coats.

The special thing about the collection is that it is all about environmental awareness and sustainability. The fabric remnants from the production of the camel hair coats from Max Mara are mixed with recycled polyester and transformed into a particularly insulating and high-quality filling using a special upcycling process. Upcycling is intended to have a lower impact on the environment by using less energy, reducing waste, using less water and therefore having a lower carbon footprint compared to producing the filling from pure camel hair wool.
